My current research focuses on the study of the deformation of the Earth’s crust caused by earthquakes and aseismic slip events. To characterize surface deformation, I use space geodetic techniques such as GPS/InSAR and data provided by seismometers. My main regions of interest include the North Anatolian Fault, East Anatolian Fault, and Aegean extensional domain. My interdisciplinary research spans the fields of geodesy, geophysics, geology, civil engineering, environmental science, and disaster education.
