Masters:

a.The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score or GRE score.

b. GPA 2.20/4.00

c. BUEPT Minimum "C" Score or
TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
Home TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
IELTS Academic General Score 6.5, Academic Writing 6.5

*The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score ALES Quantitative: 60 or GRE Quantitative score of 150 is accepted.

Doctorate (with Bachelors Degree):

a. The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score or GRE score.

b. GPA 3.50/4.00

c. BUEPT Minimum "C" Score or
TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
Home TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
IELTS Academic General Score 6.5, Academic Writing 6.5

* The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score ALES Quantitative: 80 or GRE Quantitative score of 157 is accepted.

Doctorate:

a. The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score or GRE score.

b. GPA 3.15/4.00

c. BUEPT Minimum "C" Score or
TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
Home TOEFL® (IBT) General Score 79, Writing 22 or
IELTS Academic General Score 6.5, Academic Writing 6.5

** The Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam (ALES) score ALES Quantitative: 70 or GRE Quantitative score of 154 is accepted.

The English Proficiency Test (BUEPT) is administered by the School of Foreign Languages (YADYOK). Applicants who plan to take the BUEPT must apply to YADYOK prior to the date of the exam. Applicants who have already taken the TOEFL/IELTS and received a sufficient overall score but failed to achieve a sufficient score in the writing section must present their TOEFL/IELTS score report to YADYOK and apply to take the TWE. Those who achieve a sufficient score on the TWE will be considered proficient in English.
